GAIHN – Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network – a program of United MInistries

GAIHN assists local congregations to share hospitality – emergency shelter, meals, and short-term housing – with homeless families that include children and to help those families achieve self-sufficiency and self-fulfillment

Service: 24 Greenville-area congregations use their classrooms and other facilities to offer homeless families safe lodging, nourishing meals, and genuine hospitality for a week at a time, about four (4) times a year on a rotating schedule.  They also provide transitional housing for families. 18 other congregations provide volunteer services & support resources.
