MARYS House (Ministry Alliance for Regaining Your Safety)

Services: a faith based organization that provides temporary, emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. Lodging, food, personal items, clothing, and other necessities are provided. Residents receive counseling, case management, support group therapy and living skills. Provides community counseling.

Exception/Criteria: for women and children in imminent danger of domestic violence

Meg’s House

Service: The Shelter provides temporary safety and help for abused women and their children. Services are offered to those who have been abused physically, emotionally or mentally. Emotional and physical support is provided. These services include individual and group counseling, assistance with getting protection, housing and medical aid, referrals to social service agencies, as well as housing and food.

Safe Homes/Rape Crisis Coalition

Services: emergency shelter, support and assistance to victims of domestic violence and their dependent children as well as assistance in serving orders of protection, individual and family therapy, support groups and 24-hour crisis lines. Hospital, police and court accompaniment is provided for victims of sexual assault. The agency also provides in-service training for service providers and community education programs.
