Painting Day – Thank You!

Once again, Jacobs sent over a fabulous volunteer crew to help out with the painting at the Restore a Home house. A combination of Jacobs volunteers and UHC staff and family members made this house a lot brighter and ready for Steve and Mary! Thank you, we couldn’t have done it without your help!

Update on Restore a Home

20140902_094317Work on our first Restore a Home project is coming along nicely. We have a flurry of activity happening there this week in anticipation of Friday’s Painting Day. We plan to have the home ready for Steve and Mary to move in by September 26!

Thank you to all the individuals and businesses who have made contributions and/or donated goods, time and services. We could not have pulled off this project without you! Click here for a list of all the Restore a Home supporters.

While the house itself is almost complete we still need some help outfitting the house for its new residents. Here’s the full list of “housewarming” items we still need. If you can contribute, please email or call (864) 241-0462. Gift cards are welcome as well.
